How do I access the Petlog Lost Pet Alert?

You can access the alert by clicking on the button found at the top right of the app home screen.

How do I enter details for more than one dog?

To add another pet click on ‘+add pet’, this will take you to a new registration screen. Once you have multiple pets registered you can switch between them using the arrows next to the pet portrait.

What do I do if I don’t know the Post Code where I lost my dog?

If you do not know the Post Code and are unable to get a GPS location you can enter a short description of your location. Petlog may then contact you for further information.

I am not a Petlog customer, can I still use the alert?

Unfortunately you have to be a Petlog customer to use the alert. For more information please visit https://www.petlog.org.uk/pet-owners/microchip-with-a-petlog-vet/

I am not a Petlog Premium customer, can I still use the alert?

Yes! As a standard customer the alert will inform Petlog that your dog is lost. As a Premium customer Petlog will then send an alert to authorised agents within 30 miles of where you lost your dog.

How do I upgrade to Petlog Premium?

You can upgrade to Petlog Premium by visiting https://www.petlog.org.uk/services/upgrade.aspx or by calling Petlog on 0844 4633 999.

How do I update my details?

To update details such as your address please visit www.petlog.org.uk or call Petlog on 0844 4633 999.

What are fitdog and talkdog?

fitdog is a series of insightful mini-tutorials that show you how to feed to ideal body condition, reduce stress and enhance your dog’s enjoyment of life.

talkdog is a fascinating mini-tutorial that teaches you the secrets of dog language. It helps you read your dog’s thoughts and emotions, understand behaviour, make training easier and become even closer to your dog.

Can I buy fitdog and talkdog on their own?

Currently these extras are only available for purchase and use inside the app.

How do I access fitdog and talkdog once I’ve bought them?

Once downloaded the fitdog and talkdog extras are accessed directly from the app through their own home screens in the dog care section.

Will my dog uk function without a Wi-Fi or network connection?

The Profile section is always available.

The out and about and dog care sections are available offline once they have been initially accessed. If you turn off your phone you will need an internet connection before you can access these again.

The directories and mynetwork sections are only available with an internet connection.

Can I use my dog uk abroad?

Yes, however we would advise against using the app abroad as it can incur high roaming fees. You should check with your provider before use.

How do I enter a picture of my dog for top dogs?

When adding photos to your profile there is an option for the photo to be included in top dogs. Simply select ‘Nominate for top dogs’ and it will be added to our list. Please remember to add a caption to each photo.

What are the file requirements for uploading a photo?

There are no file requirements. However we can only accept entries via the app.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can upload?

There is no limit, however please note we will select up to 24 dogs per day for the Top Dogs gallery so not every dog will feature.

Can I upload videos?

Not at this time.

I submitted a photo to “top dogs” but my dog was not chosen, why not?

Sadly we can only have 24 top dogs each day. But not to worry, we save all of the pictures you send in so check back tomorrow to see if your dog has made it to the top!

Can I submit the photo again?

Of course, though the more original your picture is the more likely your dog will be chosen.

How do I add a dog friendly location or business?

Please e-mail details to mark.wisbey@fetchdigital.com. We require the name of the business and phone number. We will contact your recommendation to verify their details.

Is there an ad free version?

Currently we do not offer an ad free version of the app.

Is there a limit to how many dogs I can add to my profile?

The more the merrier!

Do the calendar reminders work with the calendar on my smart phone?

All reminders you add in vital stats are synced instantly with your calendar.

I want to link to my dog uk from my website, do you have any images I can use?

We have an image link on our blog page, alternatively you can contact us through our webform and we’ll try to provide you with the images you need.

Why are there only a handful of results for ‘High St’?

We are constantly updating our directories and are looking for new dog friendly locations. You can e-mail your suggestions to us at info@fetchdigital.com We aim to have the largest dog friendly directory in the UK with over 35,000 entries.

How can I contact xyz partner directly?

The partner section of our website contains information and links for all of our partners.

What is your privacy policy?

Please go to the profile section and click the cogwheel icon in the top right corner, then click on Terms & Conditions. At the bottom you will find a link to our Privacy Policy. Alternatively click on the link on our website www.mydoguk.com

How do I contact the owners/publishers of my dog uk?

I want to make a complaint about a directory listing, how do I do that?

Does my dog uk offer discounts off featured products and services?

Please click on the partner tab for details.

Is there a version of the app that will work on iPhone 3G or previous?

my dog uk has been built for iPhone 3Gs and 4 and Android phones, it is not possible to access the app on other phones. However you can get the directories from our partners at www.dogfriendly.co.uk

How do I change my profile picture?

You can change your profile picture by going into your profile and then clicking the edit button at the top right. You then click on your current photo and you will have the option of selecting a photo from your gallery or taking a new photo.

How do I remove a picture?

Currently you are not able to remove photos that you have uploaded to your profile gallery. We are working on a solution for this and hope to have it available soon.

My uploads take a long while to appear in my network/profile

During times of high network use it may take a while for large files such as pictures to upload. Please bear with us while work on reducing upload times.

There are no entries for places to stay in Europe

We are constantly updating our directory with new entries. Please suggest anyone you would like to nominate by emailing us at info@fetchdigital.com.
